Cutting , Reining, working Cow Horse, and Western Pleasure Program Information

There are many training opportunities in Western Equine through CAEP. Reining is focused on competition for horses where the riders guide the horses through a precise pattern of circles, spins, and stops. In addition to Cutting, where a horse and rider are judged on their ability to separate a single animal away from a cattle herd and keep it away for a short period of time, training opportunities also exist for those interested in working cow horse competitions. Training for Western Pleasure, which evaluates horses on manners, gait cadence and responsive disposition, rounds out this exciting training area.

"CAEP gave me a great chance… my knowledge about wine making is really improved. I think without an organization like CAEP, it would have been very difficult to get a visa and a great job like the one I found."
